New boats: A Mostes

The A. Mostes shipyard has its roots way back in 1913 when Alessandro Mostes, certain of his passion and skill acquired in woodworking, opens the shipyard in Lezzeno, on Lake Como. The third generation sees Sandro as the protagonist who, with his intuitions and authentic passion for boats, begins to design and build the first motorboats in mahogany bottomed wood, using 15/25 hp outboard motors. In the 1970s fiberglass made its appearance on the market, which implied the start of a new experience regarding the use of materials and the A. Mostes shipyard adapted with enthusiasm, both to obtain a technological improvement of its creations and due to the need for greater production to meet new market needs.
Thanks to Sandro's passion for speed and for racing motorboats, the production is mainly oriented, also in consideration of the considerable specialization acquired, to the design of deep V hull racing hulls: the hulls are powered by engines of about 400 HP , which are also very competitive at an international level. Crossing 100 years of artisan experience, we arrive up to the present day, after having renovated the shipyard, through the construction of new warehouses and having chosen to favor an increasingly specialized and innovative production of hulls from 6.50 to 10.10 meters whose characteristics of speed, elegance and attention to detail are highly appreciated by our loyal customers. over the years a considerable experience and ability to work has been acquired appreciated not only nationally but also internationally. In 2023, Valbroker became the MOSTES dealer for Lake Maggiore and Como.
