The passion of an owner and the genius of the Studio Geometrie Marine of the engineer Aldo Gatti with the mastery of a historic Cantiere Leopoldo Colombo on Lake Como, have given life to an extraordinary interpretation of the American lobster. The boat is built in wood on the lines of the series boat Rose Island 38', with which it shares the Designer and the proven qualities of navigation and seaworthiness. Made of oak frames, triple laminated mahogany planking and superstructures in solid mahogany and mahogany plywood with a beautiful Teak deck. From the keel to the mast there is not a single component in fiberglass. Numerous accessories and special features that contribute to making this hull complete and self-sufficient even for long-range cruises. From the electrical panel on which each individual on-board user is highlighted, to the stern capstan winch, from the external shower with hot and cold water to the remote-controlled gangway, from the 3.5 KW generator under the stern, to the flaps that help maintain a stable trim during navigation and the lateral wooden fins to protect the sides.
